Included is a new bearing that is slightly thinner to get rid of the slight throwback you may have experienced in the original G&E 4’s.
These will NOT be sold with any other Hspin yoyos. So get your fill while you can.
Limited to 50 pieces. Coming to your favorite store sooooon.
Sick.
The Superstar is already an amazing yoyo by itself, let alone with Paul Han flare thrown into the mix. Can’t wait to see future editions of the Superstar.
If you dont remember back a year and 1/2 ago let me refresh your memory. Since then a few things have happened with Yomega: They tried to release an Aluminum yo-yo called the Blazer, its basically a mediocre aluminum yo-yo with shitty “graphics” and a super problematic (and probably patent infringing) response system. Next they decided not to sponsor any yo-yo contests (thats what i hear through the grapevine). So then, since they obviously don’t want to support anything us “Knuckle Dragging” yo-yoers are involved it, they pulled there sponsorship of there team, without telling them.
So now, they want to sell you cheep aluminum, low cost, AMERICAN MADE, Yo-Yos. O and the product line for these is called “Rhody-o”. What the fuck are they thinking?
First, The Maverick. Another Blazer-esque yo-yo. Same poor graphic detailing, new “super smooth rubber return system”.
The Next one looks a little better, thanks to Ouch doing the graphics. The anodizing sounds like of interested also, but with Yomega’s long line of gimmicky let downs, I’m not holding my breath.
So what are you trying to do here Alan? Now that you’ve made every yo-yoer “with some experience” upset at you and your sub-par products, your trying to sell us more junk? O and hire Ouch to do all your graphics fron now on. Not to mention your names for yo-yoers make them as gimmicky as your write up’s on your site. If Yomega is gearing up for some “new boom”, awesome, the more kids they get into yo-yoing the more kids will learn that all the “cool kids” despise Yomega products. Its still win-win. Thanks Alan.
The new M1 by OneDrop has been unveiled, with a $60 price tag! 5 colors just in time for the holidays. The M1 features the same nice wide gap as the Mark Mont/Project with a smaller width and diameter. Since the M1 is made on a lathe instead of a mill, like the Projects, a new nut capturing system is being implemented.
Along with the M1, comes a new One Drop silicone friction sticker. Knowing the time and effort OneDrop puts into R and D, these pads will be just as good as their yo-yos.
Heres the lates look at Yo-Yo Factory’s newest yo-yo, The Mighty Flea…
This SUPER undersized yo-yo packs a tiny bearing and custom mini-friction stickers. Also due to the smallness of the yo-yo a custom skinny string is required.
Just to give you an idea on the immense, well smallness, of The Flea check it out compared to the Superstar.
A neat, nickel plated, gutsy new move from the guys who are doing it day in and day out.
Hspin has just released pictures and info on their newest yo-yo, The Cut.
The shape is comprised of different steps to create a very interesting and unique profile. I’m excited to try one and hear how it stacks up to the other heavy hitters on the market right now.
One thing that really shows a well thought out product is its presentation. But when SPYY goes above and beyond like this, you know its going to be outstanding. The vintage artwork is reminiscent of intricate firearm engravings.
I, along with a good chunk of yoyo2 readers, have experienced Steve Brown’s wrath. Wether its on a web board or doing the wrong thing at the wrong time… we know what this yuppy suburban house wife was in for. Do I feel sorry for her? Not one bit:)
Can’t wait to watch this! Congrats to Steve, Marlee, Zane, Mav and Trixie. You guys are rock stars.
It’s no secret that Duncan has been working on spinning caps similar to “hub stacks”. Finally we get a first look at what they have up there sleeves.
The biggest difference from the Duncan spin caps and those of Yo-Yo Jam’s or Yo-Yo Factory’s is the magnet in the center. It’s rumored that this will be paired with magnetic counter weights.
The big difference in the Duncan spin caps is they do not spin independently of each other. The design uses a hollow axle that has an axle through the center that attach to the caps. thanks to Doctor Popular for the picture.
2008 US Nationals saw the return of Buzz On Industries.
Here is a new spin on an old face. First released in 2003 the Element X has always come with metal rings, until now. The wood rings look really great. Looking forward to a more appropriate body color combo.
Also making a come back is one of my favorite plastics. The Throwman. Only now they come with metal rings like original Element X’s.
Glad to see that Buzz On is back. I hope that previous flaws have been changed and a solid line of yo-yos is here to stay.
